KATIE JAMIESON

Certified Athletic Therapist

Katie received her Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 2015 from the University of British Columbia. After the completion of her degree, she went to Mount Royal University and attained her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy and became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2017.
Katie has experience working with clients with postural and low back pain, using a combination of manual treatment techniques and exercise rehabilitation. She also has a special interest in acute and chronic hip and knee injuries.  For Katie, education is a vital part of any treatment plan. She feels understanding your injury and the best way to treat it, will help in the long-term recovery process. Not only does Katie enjoy teaching her clientele, she strives to continue learning to become better at her craft.
Before moving to Winnipeg in 2020 Katie was heavily involved in the athletic community in Calgary providing clinical and on field support for several youth teams including rugby, hockey, basketball and soccer. She has been a part of teams at elite youth, varsity and provincial levels.
